The Swim Test (PDF) may be signed off by any WSI, Red Cross, or equivalent instructor. Copies of current SCUBA certificates are accepted.

The test can be signed off at any of the Oakland Parks and Recreation Aquatics Pools. Following is a list of other pools in the area that have administered the swim test in the past. You should verify pool hours and any fees associated with administering the test before you go to the pool.

Please note that some information listed below may be out of date. Please call the swim center(s) you wish to use to verify their information. **Note: The Oakland YMCA does not offer swim tests.
