2023-2024 LMRC Membership Year Fees

Regular Membership: $700

Senior/Student/Additional Family Membership: $595

 Student Summer Rate*: $100-110/month

  • Memberships are prorated every 15th of the calendar month**.

  • To ensure rowing is accessible to our community, a fee reduction may be available by request if you are unable to pay the membership fee at this time.

    LMRC Annual Membership will not be refunded.

*Student Summer Program 5/23-8/23 - Includes one coached program (see Programs page) - No Proration, Price varies by program from $100-110/month. Extension of membership available through September request to LMRC Treasurer and Membership Committee.

**Prorated Fees are for New-Members Only (New Member is defined as someone who has not been a member of LMRC in the past 12 months). The club offers Regular Memberships, Senior Memberships (for anyone who turns 65+ in the current calendar year), Family Discounted Memberships (for family members of Regular Members), and Student Memberships (for full time students only, proof of enrollment is required).

 

Starting a Membership with LMRC

To get your membership processed you will need to sign up for an iCrew account. iCrew is LMRC’s official club management tool that will allow you to make a boat reservation, check in and off the water, join coached programs, pay for membership and private boat rack fees, log your volunteer hours, and report any equipment issues. You cannot row without iCrew. (Note that after your iCrew registration is complete, you will want to download the iCrew app to your phone - search app store for iCrew rowing)

Once your iCrew account and membership payment are complete you will be given a key code to access the boathouse, a membership ambassador will contact you to help answer any questions you might have, and you will begin to receive the club’s newsletter. 

 

iCrew Signup Instructions

If you have any questions about how to complete your iCrew account signup please contact membership@lakemerrittrowingclub.org or icrew@lakemerrittrowingclub.org. Welcome to LMRC!!

  1. Create your iCrew account. Go to: https://bit.ly/2MsmtYm

  2. You will see a few options, click the link “Independent Sculler”

  3. Fill out all fields on the page with your contact information.

  4. When you first sign in, you will see a popup that says, “You have outstanding payments due. Check Payments for details.” Ignore this message and go to the tab that says, “Documents”

  5. Once you have gone to the “Documents'' tab please read and sign the LMRC club Waiver and COVID-19 Waiver. 

  6. All LMRC Members are required to be members of USRowing. Be sure to include your USRowing membership number in your profile, found in the “Profile” tab on the main screen. You can sign up for a USRowing membership at: https://membership.usrowing.org/individual/join (cost is $25 as of 5/1/2023, $20 if renewing an existing membership). If needed the club code is: 76KBR

  7. If you would like to join any coached programs/teams, please do the following: on the main screen click the tab that says, “Your Teams”, on the next page click the drop down menu that says, “Your Menu”, click or tap on “Join or Leave Teams”. To add yourself to a team click the icon with a small plus sign. You will be invoiced at the first of every month for your coaching fees, be sure to “leave” the team before the beginning of the next month.

  8. Finalize your payment on the “Payments” tab.


    If you have selected to be part of a coached program/team: you can pay by the month, this pay by the month option is only for those signed up for a coached program. If you stop your coached program before the end of the membership year (3/31/24) you will owe the balance for you membership to continue to be in good standing with the club. Go back to the main screen and click the “Payments” tab. You will see a list of unpaid items, choose the program/team name that appears on the list of items to pay for (eg. Novice AM, Comp AM, Recreational PM). Click the “Pay now” button.

    If you would like to not join a coached program/team: There will be a drop down menu, be sure to select the appropriate pricing, seniors and full time students receive a discount.Go back to the main screen and click the “Payments” tab. You will see a list of unpaid items with drop down menus, choose “FY24 Annual Membership Fee (04/01/23 - 03/31/24)” There will be a drop down menu, be sure to select the appropriate pricing, seniors and full time students receive a discount. Click the “Pay now” button.

  9. Once payment is completed you will receive a receipt from our payment partner and LMRC Membership will contact you with a welcome email and a door code for you to access the boathouse if you do not receive an email from Membership within 48 hours please email membership@lakemerrittrowingclub.org
